Import past seasons

A commissioner or co-commissioner can open Front Office → More → Import past seasons. History imports are free and only add records to that league. They never overwrite native seasons.

Prepare and preview

Download the CSV template and replace its fictional examples. Use one row per player per game. Repeat the game details on every row, use a distinct name for each historical season, and leave unknown stats blank instead of entering 0. For a score-only game, leave team, player and stats blank. Keep each complete season in one file: up to 1,000 rows and under 1 MB.

Choose Preview CSV. Fix each row it flags and upload the corrected file. Exact duplicate rows are skipped. An unchanged season is marked Already imported; a different version is blocked, not overwritten. You can upload separate files for separate seasons.

Confirm and find your history

Check that you have permission to publish the results and player names, then choose Confirm history import. The preview lasts 30 minutes. There are up to 20 preview and confirm steps per league each hour. Imported seasons are labeled Imported and are public, without making your native season public.

Regular-season games count in standings when recorded. Recorded regular-season and playoff player stats use the existing archive counting rules. Unknown stats remain blank. Imported players are separate unclaimed historical identities, not automatic matches to current players.

Choose View imported history to open the result. To hide a player's public name while preserving their stats, use Front Office → More → Privacy and takedowns. A changed imported season needs a history correction rather than another import.
