Guide
Confirm a result
Sign in with the account linked to your team, then open the game from your league's Scores page. A result waiting on your side offers Review result.
Who can answer
The opposing team's linked captain, GM or assistant GM can answer. If none is linked to that team, its claimed roster players can answer instead. A result posted by a commissioner who isn't on either team needs an eligible person from each team to confirm.
If the action is missing, check your account and the game's status, then ask your captain, GM or commissioner. Scores waiting to become final stay private, and private league pages require membership.
Check the result
Choose Review result. Compare both scores, player numbers and any attached screenshots with your own record. Choose Confirm result only when the entry is right. If the box score changed while you were reviewing it, open the new version and check it again.
Your confirmation may still leave the game waiting on the other side or on a commissioner's review. Check the game's current status before treating it as final.
If something's wrong
Choose Something's wrong, select a Reason and explain the issue under What should they check? You can attach screenshots and include your team's numbers. Follow the form if your league requires your numbers and a screenshot. Then choose Send to the commissioner.
If someone says a result is wrong before it is final, it stays out of the standings until a decision. Asking for a review of an already-final result does not stop it counting. If you posted the result, use Fix or edit result while that action is offered; otherwise ask the commissioner to check it.
Deadlines and holds
Follow the deadline and explanation on the game page. Do not assume that silence makes every result final: some results need a person's confirmation or a commissioner's review.
A Not counted yet result is saved but is not yet awaiting confirmation. If league activity is frozen, result actions are unavailable. Ask the commissioner about the status before trying again.

Common questions
How do teams confirm NBA 2K league box scores?
For typed or edited numbers, the other team's captain or co-captain confirms the box score or taps Something's wrong before the deadline shown on the game. For a checked screenshot that's already final, they can ask for a review until the time shown; the score still counts. They can confirm on the website or with the buttons OVRWire sends in Discord. In the regular season, a clean read that its poster checked is final right away, unless a warning needs a look or your commissioner reviews every game. The other team can still ask the commissioner for a review until the time shown on the game, and the score counts while it's checked. In the playoffs, a clean checked read can become final at the deadline shown on the game if nobody asks for a review.
How do you stop fake box scores in a 2K league?
OVRWire checks the math on every box score: each player's points match their shots, makes never beat attempts, the players add up to the TOTAL row, and the quarters add up to the final. Numbers someone typed in or changed never become final through silence: the other team confirms them, or the commissioner reviews the game. Every decision and correction goes in the league log with a reason.
How does OVRWire handle forfeits and lag-outs?
On OVRWire, a team that shows up can claim a forfeit when the game offers that action. Check its conditions and the deadline to say it's wrong. Your league's rules determine the timing. OVRWire never invents points for a forfeit: a no-show is a win and a loss with no score. For lag-outs and restarts, your league's commissioner settles disputes and corrections, in public.
Do players get their own stats page and season history?
On OVRWire, player pages update from final games, and each player's gamertag, exactly as it shows in 2K, is their public name in the league. Once a season goes live, its pages are public, and completed seasons stay public as a free archive. If a player's gamertag is already in the league, OVRWire asks "Is this you?" so their games stay linked to them.
