Guide
Run a franchise league
Franchise carries teams and eligible contracts between seasons. Choose Franchise when you create the league, then invite your teams and players.
Tiers and the cap
Open Front Office → Contracts & cap. Set the hard cap, player tiers, maximum contract length and rookie rules, then choose Save contracts & cap. The virtual dollar values measure team cap space, not payments. The platform permits contracts of up to 5 seasons; your league, the tier and each player's accepted limit can be lower.
Under Assign player tiers, choose each rostered or available player's tier and save. A tier sets the value of their next contract; an existing contract keeps its terms. Check Cap sheet for team commitments and room.
Starting contracts and signings
For a league bringing its own rosters, add the players, then ask each to accept their starting-roster terms on the league page. In Starting contracts, choose lengths and Save starting contracts. The selected contracts save together or not at all. During setup, an eligible GM can open My team → Free agents, choose a contract length and Sign an available player who has accepted their terms and has a tier. Draft leagues use the draft instead.
Trades and waivers
On Trades, choose the teams, select the players or picks and send an offer. The other team can answer or counter. Commissioners can review and veto when the league's rules allow it. Offers stay with the teams involved until review.
On Waivers, a GM can choose Make a claim, select an optional drop and submit it. A GM can also withdraw a claim or release a player. Claims are checked against the league's rules and cap; a release may leave a cap charge. The page shows the order and results to league members while a team's claims stay private to its officers.
Rollover and re-signing
After the season ends, resolve open offers and trades before starting the next season from Front Office → More. Continuing contracts and their players carry to the next season; expired contracts can create a re-sign window for the former team. Send fresh team claim links and check the new season's cap and roster before going live.
A team's GM or assistant GM opens My team → Re-sign players. Window ends shows the deadline; choose a length at the displayed tier value and select Offer re-sign. Waiting for player means the player has not answered. The player must accept the exact offer; it may then need review.
Staff can see Re-sign offers in Front Office → Contracts & cap; people allowed to see an offer can also find it on Cap sheet. Both say Offers do not count against payroll until completed. When review is available, eligible staff can choose Review re-sign offer, give a reason and choose Veto re-sign or Cancel re-sign.
Contracts and your terms explains how players answer an offer or join the available list after a decline or lapse.
